Why sub / super fast handgun draw or presentation – are overrated

Why sub / super fast handgun draw or presentation – are overrated.

First consider this: not the first who shots wins.

Here is the formula. You are proactive; you have time. Whether the weapon is presented between 1 to 1.8 sec virtually has no difference, since, well, you are proactive, no survival is of necessity, but rather a commitment to a challenge. Optimal.

Tool in a box – a tactical fallacy (part 01)

When it comes down to the conceptualism of tactical techniques, methods or skills - The tool box analogy is by far an analogy which represents a false and mostly unforgiven understanding of the relations between stress and performance. I chose the word unforgiven, because that's how it is – Unforgiven as it tends to be proven wrong just in the moment when things go out of the window and shit is splattered all over the wall. Considering the fact that the majority of people aren't statistically going to get that far in terms of actually fighting a threat, the fundamentals and depth of understanding of this fallacy tend to simply fade away from the sight of the masses, leaving peoples certain that their imaginary box of solutions and tools for every problem or issue, will actually exist when the time comes.

Tactical thinking - Are you a Teacher or instructor ?

In the tactical world, the word instructor is widely overused and has become an over-saturated description for many people. The meaning has become null in the sense that instructing and teaching are two very different approaches to the problem and the solution. For real world applications (high treat) instructing the solution isn’t enough as to teach the problem.
